I have requested regular updates on the progress MBIE makes on investigations under the Trade (Safeguards Measures) Act 2014, including on Provisional Safeguard Duties. I refer the member to my response to written question 37854 (2026) for further information about the advice I received from MBIE relating to the applicant’s request for provisional measures and my decision.
