I received advice on a possible provisional safeguard duty from MBIE on 4 August and 1 September 2026. Following advice from MBIE, I have decided not to impose provisional safeguard duties at this stage. This position relates only to ALENZ’s request for provisional duties and does not prejudge the outcome of the wider safeguard investigation, including whether a final safeguard measure should be imposed.
