How many, if any, of the 1,639 houses that Kāinga Ora delivered in 2025/26 had been issued a Code of Compliance Certificate (CCC) on or before 30 June 2026 and how many, if any, were issued with a CCC after that date?

Answer
Kāinga Ora – Homes and Communities advises me that of the 1,639 homes delivered in 2025/26 • 1,340 homes had been issued with a CCC on or before 30 June 2026 • 299 homes had not been issued with a CCC by 30 June 2026. Since that date, three homes have received a CCC, with the remaining homes progressing through the CCC process. However, all 1,639 houses had passed a final building code compliance inspection and a CCC is not required for occupation of Kāinga Ora homes built on Kāinga Ora land.
