Answer
In my capacity as the Prime Minister, I am the responsible minister for the Department of the Prime Minister and Cabinet (DPMC). The National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA) is a departmental agency hosted by DPMC until 25 September 2025. The Cyclone Recovery Chief Executive was a functional Chief Executive appointed under the Public Service Act 2020 in March 2023 and disestablished with effect from 1 July 2025. Information relating to contractors and consultants employed by DPMC in financial year 2024/25 and those between 1 July 2025 and 30 September 2025 is set out in Appendices 2 and 3 of the DPMC Annual Review 2024/25: https://www3.parliament.nz/resource/en-NZ/54SCGOA_EVI_f908c1ba-7843-46a1-b6a2-08de12a0458d_GOA47336/8861b113c0cf749978aa2d34026bbc5bc1f6fd7c More recent information is currently not collated, and it is not in the public interest for officials to undertake this work.
