Answer

In my capacity as the Prime Minister, I am the responsible minister for the Department of the Prime Minister and Cabinet (DPMC). The National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA) is a departmental agency hosted by DPMC until 25 September 2025. The Cyclone Recovery Chief Executive was a functional Chief Executive appointed under the Public Service Act 2020 in March 2023 and disestablished with effect from 1 July 2025. I am advised that the details of advertising, public relations campaigns or publications for the 2023/24 financial year is set out in Appendix 2 of the DPMC and NEMA Annual review 2023/24. https://www3.parliament.nz/resource/en-NZ/54SCGOA_EVI_6e98c62c-f3ab-41ab-b3eb-08dd0731b318_GOA31349/b7baf6f7ca846b893fd4ec7284755755966f930e I refer the member to my response to Written Parliamentary Question 9759 (2026).
