Answer

The Commerce Commission published guidance on free range egg and poultry claims during a potential avian influenza outbreak to provide guidance to the industry in March 2025. The guidance is available on the Ministry for Primary Industries’ website. The Commission has received feedback from industry that the guidance has been helpful.
