How much, if any, has been spent in the Minister’s departments, agencies, crown entities and any other bodies that the Minister is responsible for, if any, on consultants who advise on public sector reform management or similar, since 27 November 2023?

Hon Nicola Grigg
Member for Selwyn · National Party · Minister for the Environment
Answer
The Ministry for the Environment (MfE) did not engage consultants who advise on public sector reform management or similar between 27 November 2023 and 30 June 2026. The Environmental Protection Authority has not spent any funding on public sector reform management or similar since 27 November 2023. I am not responsible for any other departments, agencies, Crown entities, or other bodies. My responsibility for MfE ended when MfE merged into the new Ministry for Cities, Environment, Regions and Transport (MCERT) on 1 July 2026. Responsibility for MCERT sits with the Minister Responsible for RMA Reform.
