Answer

I am advised that the Climate Change Commission and New Zealand Green Investment Finance Limited have had no spend on consultants who advise on public sector reform management or similar, since 27 November 2023 I am not responsible for any other departments, agencies, Crown entities, or other bodies. From 1 July 2026, the Ministry for the Environment merged into the new Ministry for Cities, Environment, Regions and Transport (MCERT). Responsibility for MCERT sits with the Minister Responsible for RMA Reform. For the period of 27 November 2023 to 30 June 2026, I refer the Member to the Minister for the Environment’s response to written parliamentary question 34859 (2026). For the period of 1 July 2026 to 3 August 2026, I refer the Member to the Minister Responsible for RMA Reform’s response to written parliamentary question 34691 (2026). For MFAT, I refer the Member to the Minister of Foreign Affairs response to WPQ 34753 [2026]
