Answer

New Zealand Trade and Enterprise uses Microsoft Copilot as its enterprise artificial intelligence tool. NZTE accesses Copilot through the Department of Internal Affairs' all-of-government Microsoft Cloud Software and Services Agreement and did not undertake a separate procurement process. As part of its shared services agreement with New Zealand Trade and Enterprise, Invest New Zealand uses Microsoft Copilot as its enterprise intelligence tool. Please refer to NZTE’s response. For the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade, I refer the Member to the Minister of Foreign Affairs' response to WPQ 34065 (2026).
