Answer

To clarify, the Government is not undertaking a separate projection of the Northland Corridor project’s share of Crown infrastructure spending to 2050. The ongoing work referred to in my previous answer relates to the final cost of the project, which, as advised in my reply to 27636 (2026), continues to be refined through detailed design and procurement processes.
