I am advised that the Energy Competition Task Force is a vehicle for collaboration between the Electricity Authority and the Commerce Commission with MBIE as an observer. To date the Electricity Authority has led 8 initiatives within the Task Force work programme. The breakdown of spend on external consultants is detailed in WPQ 12157 (2026).
