Answer
I am advised that Corrections completes a staff engagement survey called ‘Shaping Correction’ every six months. The survey began in 2019. This survey took place in March and September 2024 and May and November 2025. I refer the member to the table attached as Appendix One, which provides the survey scores for the dates above. I am also advised that in February 2024, Corrections contracted EY to complete a Sexual Harassment Review. The contract was transferred to Litmus in June 2024. The Litmus review was conducted between March to June 2024 and consisted of an online questionnaire, focus groups, interviews with staff and employee-led networks, and a review of relevant policies. A total of 1,952 staff participated in the review, and four employee-led networks were engaged. Work is underway to assist Corrections eliminating sexual harassment. This includes, for example, strengthening policies and guidance, including updating the Code of Conduct; further training and running an awareness campaign on harassment and inappropriate behaviour. This is also my answer to WPQ 9919 (2026).
