I am advised that WorkSafe New Zealand attended 28 shared ride-alongs with Auckland Transport, New Zealand Transport Agency, Wellington City Council, Christchurch City Council, Taupō District Council, Tauranga City Council and the Western Bay of Plenty District Council. WorkSafe collected information from RCAs about their actions in relation to road cone hotline notifications via a monthly survey. For finding of the ‘ride-alongs’ please refer to my response to Written Question 55272 (2025).
