Answer

I am advised that WorkSafe New Zealand manages its property portfolio on a case-by-case basis at key lease milestones, including new leases, renewals, and exits. At each decision point, WorkSafe seeks to optimise its accommodation portfolio by balancing operational needs, value for money, location, and opportunities to improve efficiency, including co-location with other public sector agencies where this is available and appropriate. Decisions are not driven by a reduction in the overall number of offices, but by ensuring accommodation arrangements remain fit for purpose and represent good use of public funds. Refer to the table for the detail requested.
