Answer

I refer the Member to the attached table, which shows leases that Police have been entered, renewed, or exited since 27 November 2023. None of these leasing decisions were part of a broader office consolidation programme. The Serious Fraud Office’s Wellington Office at 22 The Terrace was on an ‘Agreement to Lease’ for the 2023/24 period. SFO signed a lease agreement for the same address in May 2024. Information about the lease is available in the SFO Annual Review and Estimates questionnaires, available online at: https://www3.parliament.nz/en/pb/sc/submissions-and-advice/current?criteria.Keyword=%22serious+fraud%22&criteria.Author=&criteria.Timeframe=&criteria.DateFrom=2023-10-14&criteria.DateTo=&parliamentStartDate=2023-10-14&parliamentEndDate=&criteria.DocumentStatus=
