Question

  • What involvement, if any, did he or his office have in reviewing, advising on, or directing decisions regarding OIA responses about the Roads of National Significance programme?

Answered by

Hon Chris Bishop

Member for Hutt South · National Party · Minister of Transport

Answer

For Departmental OIAs, my Office may review draft responses and provide feedback; however, responsibility for the release of information remains with the departments. For Ministerial OIAs, my Office and I review the material proposed for release, and I provide final sign‑off before the responses are issued.
