Answer
Department of Internal Affairs: I am advised by the Department of Internal Affairs that information on team/branch hui, conferences, away-days or staff events are not centrally collated. Details of enterprise-wide staff events costing more than $10,000 were: • Leaders’ Forum, September 2025, Wellington, $23,947. • Leaders’ Forum, October 2024, Wellington, $16,496. • Pacific fono, June 2024, Wellington and Auckland, $34,428. The Department does not record the number of staff who attend these events. The Classification Office (the Office): Nil. Lotto NZ: Please see attached table. Lotto NZ holds an annual strategy day for all staff focussed on aligning on business priorities in the coming financial year and an end of year function. All of our events comply with our sensitive expenditure policy, which is reviewed by the Board. Fire and Emergency NZ: Please see table attached.
