Hon Penny Simmonds

Answer

I refer the Member to the list below of briefings I received from Education agencies during the week beginning 9 March 2026. Ministry of Education 9 March 2026 - Draft press release for TEC Appointment 12 March 2026 - Response letter to Hon Meager from Joint Ministers Reti and Simmonds 12 March 2026 - Approval for agency and ministerial consultation for Cabinet Paper 2: Further proposals to amend Education and Training (System Reform) Amendment Bill 12 March 2026 - Trades and Non-Trades Funding in Youth Guarantee 12 March 2026 - Tertiary Education Weekly Update Tertiary Education Commission 10 March 2026 - Youth Guarantee Data 10 March 2026 - Summary for Minister's visit to Eastern Institute of Technology. Some titles have been withheld as they are sensitive in nature and are not in the public interest to release at this time. This answer does not cover members of my office who receive a large amount of material every week. Asking them to collate that material would require substantial collation and research and prevent them from undertaking their substantive roles.
