Answer

I am advised that in 2024, Health New Zealand implemented a nationally consistent methodology for capacity modelling which itemises operating theatres and procedure rooms but no longer describes recovery spaces separately as a point of care. This is why the spaces are not reported. I am further advised that the New Dunedin Hospital outpatient building has 21 recovery bays and 14 recliners.
