Answer

I am advised Fire and Emergency New Zealand has met with New Zealand Police to discuss aviation responses to rescue events. These discussions focused on ensuring both agencies are clear about their respective roles, responsibilities, and authorities for coordinating and requesting aviation assets during search and rescue incidents.
