Answer

I am advised by the Ministry of Social Development (the Ministry) that as of 1 January 2023, the Ministry had 969 vacancies across 357 open requisitions. An open requisition indicates approval to recruit; it precedes any advertising. Some requisitions cover multiple identical roles. I am further advised that as of 1 January 2023 the Children’s Commissioner had 13 vacancies, the Independent Children’s Monitor had nil vacancies, the New Zealand Artificial Limb Service had 4 vacancies and the Social Workers Registration Board, at this point in time the data was not tracked.
