Was any reference to an October 2025 meeting in the Prime Minister’s office withheld or redacted from documents released by the Public Service Commission under the Official Information Act prior to 20 December 2025 concerning strike-related communications; if so, who authorised that withholding and under which specific section of the Act?

Answer

Where information is withheld under the Official Information Act, the ground for withholding is recorded on the document and in the letter of response. If the member is unsatisfied with the response, they may contact the agency or ask the Ombudsman to review the decision.
