Answer

The Department of Conservation uses BioInvest to inform priorities for conservation activities, including fencing and other measures to protect high-value habitats. It supports decisions on where investment will deliver the greatest biodiversity outcomes, including the creation of defensible areas where appropriate, alongside tools such as intensive predator control, as part of progress towards Predator Free 2050.
