Question

  • Was a selection panel set up to consider applicants for the role of Chair of the Broadcasting Standards Authority and if so, who was on the selection panel?

Answered by

Hon Paul Goldsmith

List MP · National Party · Minister for Media and Communications

Answer

I considered all expressions of interest and nominations received for the role of Chair of the Broadcasting Standards Authority and decided to recommend the reappointment of the existing Chair for a further term, therefore no selection panel was established.
