Answer

I am advised that the Ministry of Education (the Ministry) approached Government Chief Digital Officer (GCDO) during the development of the Single-Stage Business Case for the Student Monitoring, Assessment and Reporting Tool (SMART). Following that engagement, the GCDO provided written confirmation that the Ministry should proceed with this work without direct involvement from the GCDO.
