Answer

The Treasury informed the Royal Commission of Inquiry into COVID-19 Lessons Learned (Te Tira Ārai Urutā) about the independent review of COVID-19 monetary policy in December 2025. Decisions taken by the MPC are out of scope of the Royal Commission of Inquiry into COVID-19 Lessons Learned.
