Answer

I am advised by the Tertiary Education Commission (TEC) that since 2022, the TEC web practice has embedded the latest NZ Government Web Standards within its design and development processes. For newly commissioned sites, design and development practices align with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 requirements in line with the NZ Government Web Standards. For existing websites designed to the older WCAG standards, there is a continuous improvement process to bring them up to the latest standard.
