Answer

I am advised that the Department of Conservation has a good level of compliance with New Zealand Government Web Standards for the core website (doc.govt.nz) and new public services. I am further advised by the Department that for public facing legacy systems, the standard of compliance is more varied. The Department has implemented an internal scanning function to help improve adherence to the standards over time, and to ensure new systems meet the standards on release.
