Answer

Kāinga Ora – Homes and Communities advises me that around 250 homes have been re forecast from 2025/26 to 2026/27 due to extended consenting and engineering approval timeframes. Affected projects are in Auckland, Bay of Plenty, the Eastern North Island, Wellington, and Nelson/Marlborough/West Coast. Delays average 30–60 days.
