Question

  • Was Debbie Francis the sole author of the Teaching Council review report entitled 'Five Year Excellence Horizon'?

Answered by

Hon Erica Stanford

Member for East Coast Bays · National Party · Minister of Education

Answer

The Teaching Council did not advise me of whether Debbie Francis was the sole author of the Teaching Council review because this is an operational matter for the Teaching Council, who is responsible for this publication. The Teaching Council is an independent statutory entity and is accountable to the Chief Executive and Board, not the Minister of Education.
