Please see below for full list of programmes and courses which were offered through Whitireia Weltec in 2025 but not in 2026. • New Zealand Certificate in Hospitality (Level 3) • New Zealand Certificate in Cookery (Managed Apprenticeship) (Level 4) *but the provider-based version of this qualification remains on offer • New Zealand Certificate in Baking (Level 3) • New Zealand Certificate in Animal Care (Level 3) • New Zealand Certificate in Mechanical Engineering (Level 3) • New Zealand Certificate in Engineering Fabrication (Level 4) • New Zealand Certificate in Automotive Engineering (Level 4) • New Zealand Certificate in Health and Wellbeing (Level 3) • New Zealand Certificate in Business (Administration and Technology) (Level 4) • New Zealand Certificate in Music (Level 4) The following programmes were offered in 2025 but did not run in 2025 due to insufficient numbers and were removed from active offerings for 2026: • New Zealand Certificate in Food and Beverage Service (Level 4) • New Zealand Diploma in Hospitality Management (Level 5) The following two qualifications are currently closed to new enrolments for 2026. However, Whitireia Weltec advises it is exploring ways to offer these programmes in partnership with another TEO later this year: • New Zealand Certificate in Skills for Learning and Working for Supported Learners (Level 1) • New Zealand Certificate in Skills for Living for Supported Learners (Level 1)
