Answer

I have been advised that the following property asset sales occurred during 2025 related to polytechnics that were formerly part of the New Zealand Institute of Skills and Technology, and which have now been established as standalone entities: Universal College of Learning; 51-61 King St carpark; $825,000; July 2025 Toi Ohomai; Bongard building; $6,350,000; December 2025 For completeness, the Western Institute of Technology at Taranaki (WITT) remains part of the New Zealand Institute of Technology, but recorded the following asset sale during 2025: WITT; 5 Cracroft Place, New Plymouth; $695,652; May 2025 Please note my answer relates only to property asset sales as officials do not readily hold information about other types of asset sales, and this information could not be collated in the time available to respond to a written parliamentary question. Information can be requested directly from the New Zealand Institute of Skills and Technology or individual polytechnics.
