Answer

Kāinga Ora – Homes and Communities advises me that where homes are being demolished Kāinga Ora works with tenants to relocate them to an alternate property. However, I can advise that between 27 November 2023 and 17 September 2026, there were 53 tenancies in the Maungakiekie-Tāmaki Local Board area that were relocated to another Kāinga Ora home due to the property being redeveloped.
