I received advice on this matter from the former Ministry for the Environment, now the Ministry for Cities, Environment, Regions and Transport, in March 2026 (25-BRF-00018: Advice on the Coastal Marine Area in the new planning system refers) and in June 2025 (BRF-6151 Replacing the RMA - Coastal Marine Area refers).
