In June 2024, I received advice on “alternative settings” for the Fund, that included merging the Fund with the Social Investment Fund or returning Fund revenue to the centre (consolidated fund). That advice was not accepted. In January 2025, Cabinet agreed to my proposals to change the Proceeds of Crime Fund settings, focusing the Fund on violent crime.
