Answer

I am advised that NZ Transport Agency Waka Kotahi (NZTA) has received two Official Information Act 1982 requests regarding the approved normal Funding Assistance Rates (FAR) for the 2027-30 National Land Transport Programme (NLTP). Neither request stated a position on the approved normal Funding Assistance Rates. These were received from the Southland District Council and Timaru District Council on 1 September and 3 September 2026 respectively. NZTA also received three written responses to proposed FAR for 2027-30 NLTP. These were received by Hurunui District Council on 2 September 2026 which voiced appreciation, Central Otago District Council on 1 September 2026 and Buller District Council on 2 September 2026 which did not state a position.
