Answer

The NZ Transport Agency (NZTA) Board has approved $111m of pre-implementation funding for Sections 2A (Te Hana to south of the Brynderwyns) and 2B (Brynderwyn Hills) in Financial Year (FY) 2026/27 and FY2027/28. Of this, approximately $52.2m is forecasted to be spent on external professional services in FY2026/27 and $5m in FY2027/28. Further funding is subject future investment decisions.
