What amount, if any, of expenditure on Project iReX has been capitalised into the current ferry replacement programme rather than written off, and what does that expenditure consist of?

We looked into this last year and we were astonished to find that only $85 million of the $671 million spent on iReX resulted in built infrastructure. $222 million reflected the costs incurred by the shipyard and their suppliers. That means $364 million was spent on iReX with absolutely nothing to show for it. It really is a disgrace and we are thankful to you for drawing attention to this.
