Answer

The Water Services Authority—Taumata Arowai undertook compliance actions for non-compliance with drinking water standards or rules on a number of occasions throughout 2025, issuing directions under section 104 of the Water Services Act 2021. However, no formal enforcement actions were undertaken in 2025.
