Question

  • What aides-mémoire, briefings, memos, notes, reports, or any other advice, if any, has the Minister or their Office received during the week beginning 31 August 2026, listed by agency, title and date received?

Answered by

Hon Erica Stanford

Member for East Coast Bays · National Party · Lead Coordination Minister for the Government's Response to the Royal Commission’s Report into Historical Abuse in State Care and in the Care of Faith-based Institutions

Answer

31 August • Briefing – Independent review of State redress administrative costs • Briefing – End of Year Report 2025/26 (Q4): Redress system improvements for survivors of abuse and neglect in State care 4 September • Weekly report – Reporting period ending 3 September • Agenda – Crown Response Office Officials meeting 7 September 2026 • Meeting pack – Redress and Care Ministers meeting 15 September 2026 • Information points – Meeting with the Children’s Commissioner 9 September 2026 I am withholding the titles of two items as it is not in the public interest to release them at this time. This answer does not cover members of my office who receive a large amount of material every week.  Asking them to collate that material would require substantial collation and research and prevent them from undertaking their substantive roles.
