Answer

The May 2026 Gateway 3 review of the Warkworth to Te Hana PPP made seven recommendations. Of these, three had a priority of ‘by financial close’, one had a priority of 'by financial close and ongoing', with the remaining three noted as ‘do now and ongoing/during the transition and start up period’. I am advised that NZTA had implemented four recommendations as required before financial close in line with their priority. Work on the remaining three is continuing in line with the recommendations.
