Following reply 34243 (2026), what repairs are or were needed at each of the 64 schools that still need or have had initial immediate repairs to their drinking water supplies?

Answer
I am advised by the Ministry of Education that immediate repairs to infrastructure were required to reduce the risk of contamination. This is the initial step in the full upgrade to drinking water infrastructure at a school. The immediate repairs at the 64 schools cover a range of interventions to existing water infrastructure including bore renewals, water tank replacements, and changes to existing treatment infrastructure. This is also my response to written parliamentary question 39113 (2026).
