Answered by

Hon Andrew Hoggard

Answer

The Poulvac Flufend RG vaccine is registered to the Ministry for Primary Industries under the Agricultural Compounds and Veterinary Medicines Act 1997 for the emergency management of exotic disease incursion into New Zealand with strict controls on its import, sale, and use. It is not commercially available and has not been granted approval for any entities other than the Department of Conservation.
