The Poulvac Flufend RG vaccine has only been approved for use in a targeted number of endangered native bird species that are at risk of extinction, as identified by the Department of Conservation (DOC). The vaccine is currently being administered through DOC's vaccination programme. I am advised that the Ministry for Primary Industries has not purchased any doses of the Poulvac Flufend RG vaccine.
