Answer

Policy work relating to the proposed phase-out of PVC and polystyrene in food and beverage packaging formed part of a wider policy work programme on plastic waste and recycling. As costs were not tracked separately for work relating specifically to the proposed phase-out of PVC and polystyrene, it is not possible to determine the exact cost of this component. It is estimated that an average of 1.25 FTE worked on the proposed phase-out during this period.
