As Minister of Science, Innovation and Technology, I have no responsibility for any government departments. With regard to agencies, Crown entities and other bodies under the Science, Innovation and Technology portfolio, I am advised that a total of $1,326,473.48 was spent on artificial intelligence in the 2024/25 financial year, including costs associated with training staff, deploying systems, maintaining subscriptions, and other related expenses.
