Answer
The National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA) was previously hosted by the Department of the Prime Minister and Cabinet (DPMC) from 27 November 2023 to 24 September 2025. NEMA uses systems, procurement arrangements, and supporting tools provided by the host department. In my capacity as the Minister for Emergency Management and Recovery, I am not the Responsible Minister. The Prime Minister is the respective Responsible Minister. I therefore refer the Member to the response provided by the Prime Minister to PQ 38794.
