Answer

I am advised that there was no relationship. The October 2024 Gateway Review for the National Ticketing Solution (NTS) was the Readiness for Service review. The purpose of the 2025 Independent Review of the NTS was to identify key issues restricting delivery, assess the ability to deliver in a timeframe that won’t impact costs/benefits and credibility, review actions that were underway, and to provide options and next steps for the implementation of recommendations resulting from the Independent Review. The independent review is publicly available at: https://www.nzta.govt.nz/assets/About-us/docs/oia2-2025/Review-of-NTS-Programme-29-September-2025-final-report.pdf
