What is the cumulative cents per litre increase in fuel excise duty by 1 January 2030 under the new schedule, and how does that compare with the cumulative increase that would have applied under the previously scheduled increases of 12 cents in 2027, 6 cents in 2028 and 4 cents in 2029?

Answer

Corrected reply: As at 31 December 2029 (therefore not including the increase taking effect on 1 January 2030), the cumulative fuel excise duty increase under the amended schedule would be 20 cents per litre, compared with 22 cents per litre under the previous schedule.
