Further to the replies to written questions 37235 (2026) and 37240 (2026), why can the terms of reference not be released now, given they were settled before the review commenced?
Answered by
Rt Hon Winston Peters
List MP · NZ First · Minister for Rail
Answer
Ferry Holdings has a legal right to carry out, without prejudice or disadvantage, commercial activities. It is also reasonableto withhold information while a review is underway within Ferry Holdings and before advice has been tendered to Ministers, as is presently the case.
